Rule #1: "If you don't like anything I have to say here, tough"

Well I decided to start a personal blog, so that if when I find I have anything useless I want to say, I can do so here and not mess with the integrity of The Gridiron Uniform Database blog, as well as not continually clutter up the comments at Uni Watch with stuff nobody cares about.

This blog is primarily for my own use and my own benefit -- I'm one of those people that likes to hear himself blog.  So here is Rule #1 (and the only rule to my blog) if you don't like anything I have to say here, tough.  Please feel free to comment about it though, I'd love to hear the feedback.  This will be a place for me to put any comments and other "behind the scenes" type stuff that I want.

Like for instance today at Uni Watch they were talking about the 1999 Turn Ahead The Clock uniforms and in the comments, someone mentioned that Houston didn't participate, so I whipped up the Astros' TATC concept you see above.

See, now in the future with this blog, I can just put stuff like this here, and no one else has be bothered with it.

Also, I noticed that new Giant Jeff Keppinger, a high-cuffer whom they got in a trade recently with Houston (speaking of the Astros - nice segue, Rob), is going with Zito-striped socks, not plain black socks like the other high-cuffed Giants.

Amy Winehouse died the other day.  Here some new lyrics to her song:

I guess she shoulda gone to Rehab,
but she said, no, no, no...

Poor taste?  Too soon? Read rule #1.
